Revelation of John 11
And I was told, a“You must again prophesy about many peoples and nations and languages and kings.”1The Two Witnesses
2Then I was given ba measuring rod like a staff, and I was told, “Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there, 3but do not measure cthe court outside the temple; leave that out, for dit is given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for eforty-two months. 4And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for f1,260 days, gclothed in sackcloth.” 5These are hthe two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. 6And if anyone would harm them, ifire pours from their mouth and consumes their foes. If anyone would harm them, jthis is how he is doomed to be killed. 7They have the power kto shut the sky, that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying, and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood and lto strike the earth with every kind of plague, as often as they desire. 8And when they have finished their testimony, mthe beast that rises from nthe bottomless pit ▼▼Or the abyss
pwill make war on them and conquer them and kill them, 9and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that symbolically ▼▼Greek spiritually
is called rSodom and sEgypt, where their Lord was crucified. 10For three and a half days some from the peoples and tribes and languages and nations will gaze at their dead bodies and trefuse to let them be placed in a tomb, 11and uthose who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and make merry and vexchange presents, because these two prophets whad been a torment to those who dwell on the earth. 12But after the three and a half days xa breath of life from God entered them, and they stood up on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. 13Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, y“Come up here!” And zthey went up to heaven aain a cloud, and their enemies watched them. 14And at that hour there was aba great earthquake, and aca tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and adgave glory to aethe God of heaven. 15 afThe second woe has passed; behold, the third woe is soon to come. The Seventh Trumpet
16Then agthe seventh angel blew his trumpet, and ahthere were loud voices in heaven, saying, ai“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of ajhis Christ, and akhe shall reign forever and ever.” 17And the twenty-four elders alwho sit on their thrones before God amfell on their faces and worshiped God, 18saying,“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, anwho is and who was,
for you have taken your great power
and aobegun to reign.
19The nations raged,
but apyour wrath came,
and aqthe time for the dead to be judged,
and for rewarding your servants, ▼

the prophets and saints, and asthose who fear your name,
both small and great,
and atfor destroying the destroyers of the earth.”
