PSALM 87

The LORD Loves Zion

To the sons of Korah; a psalm of an ode.

1 His foundations are in the [²mountains ¹holy]. 2 The lord loves the gates of Zion above all the tents of Jacob. 3 Things being glorified was spoken concerning you, O city of God. 4 I shall make mention of Rahab and Babylon to the ones knowing me; and behold, the Philistines and Tyre, and the people of the Ethiopians; these were there. 5 Mother of Zion, [²shall say ¹a man], and the man born in her; and [³himself ⁴founded ⁵her ¹the ²highest]. 6 The lord shall describe in the writing of peoples, and of these rulers being born in her. PAUSE. 7 As ones being glad are all dwelling in you.
